First blog post!
I'll be posting mostly samples from my book(s), reviews, character sketches/concept art, and maybe writing tips or ideas I come across in my travels. Well, here's the blurb about Thunderland: The Quest to UthNir, because it seems people are rather fond of blurbs:
"Amy Wupero is a relatively unextraordinary 12-year old girl living in early 1900s London with her parents, when an astounding series of events catapults her across time and space to a world with new friends, new wonders, new enemies, and new dangers - not just for her, but for everyone she holds dear. Wizarks, dragons, magic, and mysteries await as she and her friends embark on a journey that may rescue her parents and save the world she has entered...or end it!
As she endeavors to find the strength to face the evil that would destroy everything, Amy learns lessons about friendship, loyalty, and love that demonstrate that these values are important everywhere in the universe.
The quest to save her family requires determination and courage, plus the dedication of a groups of friends and protectors who have come together to not only help Amy, but also to find themselves as they battle to save their world. The challenges they face - ferocious creatures, fierce warriors, dark magic, and overwhelming odds - bind them together in a race against time...
Thunderland: The Quest to UthNir is a classic tale of good versus evil, serving to remind us that facing our fears and doing the right thing sometimes comes with consequences that can alter who we are and how we live out our lives.
The actions of a handful of people could determine the fate of millions."
There it is! You'll be seeing more from me in the near future; I'll try to post regularly-ish.
Until we meet again,
Charlotte
